- Liam has learnt to burp on demand.
- We got a pet rabbit from the animal rescue centre. Her name is Daisy. We just paid the nice people a charitable donation. She was found hopping along a seafront all on her lonesome and she was so pretty she has become the new family pet.
- Liam just adores her, as does James.
- We got big news this week, Liam can start playgroup once a week from September!!!My baby is off to school! I will have a complete morning free every week! This is going to be strange. The school nursery didn't think there was much chance of him getting in for January but I feel that he is ready for interactiong with more children than just his brothers. I think it will do him good and help him progress just that little bit more. Otherwise, realistically, he won't be mixing with kids his age for another year. I have his first ever little lunch bag ready and it's so cute. I will post a pic as I know someone (namely Good Timing) will like it. :)
- On Wednesday this week Matthew has another meeting with the ADHD department at the hospital as before. We are still sure he has got ADHD. We should know more on Wednesday evening.
- I am fed up of the Olympics.
- I miss the sunny weather.
- I miss being on holiday.
- I haven't forgot my second picture post regarding the kids on holiday.
- If you havent seen it, there's a lovely scenic photo entry back a post. I've just finished reading a book where it's inspiration was blatantly in the back drop of the hills of this village. North Devon. Tick. Hill. Tick. Floods from the hills causing destruction. Tick. It was a revelation reading it. James Herbert - The Secret of Crickley Hall is a great book that I would recommend to anyone who likes a bit of a mystery.
- Have I said before how much I hated Fifty Shades of Grey? Rubbish!
- Facebook is boring me. But it's amazing how it hacks into your personal information. I got my neighbout up as a person "I may know". Despite living her over 2 years I've only known her first name since just before Christmas (to send a christmas card) let alone her surname.
- Matthew has a new best friend in our road. Jack seems a nice kid, he's 10 but very good with Matthew. The two play football regularly and it's good for Matthew to have a friend with similar interests around his own age.
- Although I am fed up with the Olympics on tv ALL the time. I am very much looking forward to going to the Paralympics in a few weeks.
- The day after my birthday we are going to Legoland again. That will be fun and this time Matthew can come too.
- I've been watching what I eat this week now I'm back from holiday and have lost 4lbs since last Saturday. It's a good start of a long old repetitive road!
- I always liked the number 17.
- Today is my nans birthday. She may have been gone over 4 years now, but things like that you never forget.
- I love Songpop on the Iphone. But not that the songs and categories are TOO American.
- Earlier this evening I spent 30 minutes mopping the floor. That was a waste of my life as it still looks crap. Who puts a white/grey lino on a kitchen floor? That's it for now. Enjoy your weekend.
A little girl was born, she grew up and before she knew it she was in her thirties
and living an almost idyllic life in Rural England with her husband, 3 sons, cat and rabbit.
Here's the day to day story that will one day be looked upon as the Happy Ever After.

1. As every boy should! :)
ReplyDelete2. Rabbits are awesome pets! I had a harness for mine and would take it on walks.
3. :)
4. Definitely post a photo, Good Timing isn't the only one who wants to see! :) Does not seem like he should be old enough to go off to any kind of school, though!
5. Hopefully it works out for him (and you). It's awful when things go undiagnosed and you can't get the help they need. It was a fight when we were sure Monkey had Asperger's and the school wasn't listening. Parents know best!
6. Not me! Of course, it isn't taking over my city, so I can just turn it off when I want to!
7. I'll trade! We've had so much sun that it's too hot to even go outside; I'm wishing for rain, or even snow!
8. I don't blame you!
9. Good! :)
10. I must have missed it! Off to look as soon as I finish commenting here.
11. Seriously!! I didn't read it, but since there was so much hype about it, I read a few excerpts on Amazon. Sounded like a horny teenager (with no writing skills) wrote it! My 5-year-old writes more captivating stories, haha.
12. Do you have any mutual friends with your neighbor? That's so weird! I love not having facebook, it's very liberating.
13. That's so great! I bet he loves having someone to play with.
14. I wish I could go with you! Sounds like a really fun time.
15. I'm so JEALOUS!!!
16. Go you! That's incredible.
17. Not me... I'm an even number girl. Haha.
18. No, you really don't. I hope you have lots of good memories to get you through days like that.
19. What does "TOO American" mean? Shallow? Depraved? Self-involved? Unintelligent? :)
20. We have patterned tiles that ALWAYS look dirty in our kitchen. Nice when it's hiding the real dirt, not so nice when you clean the floor and realize it still looks like terrible. Not sure what our landlords were thinking!
4 - I will try to get round to next post tomorrow. I can't believe the little dude is 3 in a matter of weeks. He's really interested in playgroup and while it's only 2.5 hours a week it's a big step for him. I just hope he goes off as well as his brothers who had no separation problems, Liam on the other hand is much more of a mummys boy. :)
Delete11 - I tell people who havent read it that it sounds like a 14 yr old boy has found some porn vids and writing down what he sees as he sees it.
Are you on Goodreads? I know you like your books, you should join up and read my full review. ;)
19 - There are alot of songs (rap and country mainly) I've never heard of and for some reason America have different copies of certain songs that catch me out. Adele is not a person that does dance music!
20 - In an ideal world, all floors will always look clean. We want those big ceramic tiles when we buy the house, and a new kitchen, and an extension for a separate dining room to make the kitchen bigger but thats another entry in itself. :)
I think I need to do one of these posts too soon! :) glad you're doing well. I've missed your regular posts but I'm worse! I'm barely on here or updating my blog either. Gotta work on that. When is your birthday?? Good job on the weight loss! And our new pet is too cute!
