Five Short Things

  1. Hubby has been a non smoker for 3 weeks now. We all know it's not good to smoke, worse still for a diabetic. He's doing well and I am incredibly proud of him.
  2. Liam has had his cot converted into a bed. He currently prefers sleeping on the floor.
  3. We paid out £70 this week for pre-school for the next 5 weeks and for Matthews Beaver scouts, I feel conned.
  4. I haven't bitten my nails for a week. Long girly hands here I come. (again)
  5. Finally, I have lost 2lbs taking me down to 218lbs. I've been stuck for 4 weeks!!!! Hence the lack of updating my weight, no point when it doesn't change. THIS has been what I needed. Schools are back so exercise is on the up naturally and I'm back on the exercise bike in toddlers rest time. Summer is not far off and I want to be under 200lb for the summer.

  1. Sounds like things are going pretty well. I wish I could grow my nails. I think they are just inherently weak or something. Congratulations on the weight loss!

    oh I wish I had long nails.. out of habit I bite mine down to nothing.. Sick gross habit.

    Congrats to hubby!! My dad recently quit smoking and its such a hard thing to overcome!! He can do it... my dad is doing it after smoking for 45 years.

    WTG on the weight loss!!! I too wanna be under 200 by summer.. its getting here fast!! I have 23 lbs to go!! ughhhhhh! lol
